Sun Valley Carolers begin strolling around the resort on Dec. 17, the same night as the Tree Lighting, 5 p.m. The Classical Christmas Concert is on Dec. 23, $35, at the Sun Valley Opera House, and on Christmas Eve, gather at the ice rink and enjoy Nutcracker on Ice, featuring world class skaters, a visit from Santa, and a torchlight parade under an umbrella of fireworks over Dollar Mountain, Dec. 24, 5 p.m. Also, look for a special event on Dec. 21. celebrating the resort's 75th birthday.
