The Dorworth Report

It was cold and clear in Sun Valley this morning. The weather is predicted to warm up considerably over the next few days. Spring, apparently, is here just in time for the last Dorworth ski report of the season. It has been one of the best ski seasons in Sun Valley history. Thanks are due to the Sun Valley Ski Patrol for making it safe, to the Sun Valley Mountain Crew for making the skiing so good, and to you, dear reader, for sharing it. My last morning of the season on Baldy was a groomer dream, none of it better than all of Cozy in morning sun. Good luck with the rest of the season and stay healthy for the next one.
Nordic skiing is still good and some of the tracks will be sometimes groomed through April 20. Phone 578-9754 for the latest grooming report. There is plenty of snow for backcountry skiing and conditions can be expected to change daily. Common mountain sense, paying attention and some basic knowledge of the backcountry should be enough to find safe skiing and great lines for at least another month.
This Zen proverb: "Sit, walk, or run, but don't wobble."
